still irritating

After spending almost 20 minutes trying to get into my blog I finally did using the exact same passord as before. Anyway, I had a facebook account and found it was really just a plaything for people who have too much time on their hands. It became games and being silly. Could have just been my family and friends but.. I took my site down and figure that anyone that wanted to see my Grandaughter's pictures can do it on my e-mail. A family member wanted me to put my sons address up on facebook so she could send him and invitaion. I have serious privacy issues with how the site is being used.

Am I done yet?

Well, today I did podcasting. I have a zune (mp 3) and I use books on cd on it all the time. I'm under the impression that you need to purchase the music and books to listen. As a good library patron I would rather not buy them just take them from the library. I'm also not interested in listening to podcast while I'm out. People now days need to learn what alone time is. The IM was with Tracy and I think it's great for people like my son-in-law who is deaf but forme I'd rather talk on the phone and hear the person or use a web cam. The virtual library was great! There is something I could lose myself in for sure. Twitter on the other hand is so much like facebook. I started facebook about 1 year ago and have totally lost interest by now. It's been elightening to do the tune-up. I found new things to do and found old things that I'll stop doing. All in all it's been a good experience.

podcasts

I looked at the instructions and found I needed to go back and refresh my memory on rss feeds. But I suppose once I get the hang of it I might put a podcast on my Zune.

wikis and google docs

Wiki is great as long as you remember that anyone cal input whatever information they think is relevant. Which means all or none of it could be true. But it's and easy way to find out information if you remember that. Google docs was very user friendly I made a document up in no time and could share it and save it without any trouble. The farther along we go on this the easier it is because they are using things I'm familiar with and so I can navigate without so much instruction.

Whoppee I did it!! Wasn't hard just had to take the time to look around and read the directions a few times. I heard the radio say read feeder and I thought OMG I know what that is. It's nice to be up to date on some things.
